If, over the years, the water has become deeper, the path has become longer, and the bank has become steeper, then this site is for you. There are places in Michigan where you can fish with barrier free access or, if you have limited mobility, you can still fish a dry to trout in moving water. Founded at the suggestion of Steve Kozak, who at 85 is still fishing, HAT has the mission of putting together people and places to help those of limited mobility to extend their fishing lives. These lists were assembled from data provided by the Michigan DNR and by fishermen like you.

Steve Kozak passed on January 4, 2009 to that great trout stream in the sky. He died peacefully in his wife's arms. We will miss him.
